The Bosnian Genocide ended in 1995. After the genocide ended a total of 100,000 Bosnian Muslims were killed.
After the attack at Zepa, in 1995 the Bosnian Serb forces refused to agree with a U.N. ultimatum. After the decline of the ultimatum the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) joined efforts with Bosnian and Croatian forces for three weeks of bombing Bosnian Serb forces. Then after three years of warfare, Milosevic agreed to enter negotiations that October. The U.S. sponsored the peace talks that was held in November in Dayton, Ohio, it resulted in the creation of a federalized Bosnia divided between a Croat-Bosniak federation and a Serb Republic.
