Throughout the Bosnian Genocide, there were many different events that created havoc throughout the country. One being the fact that Serbian forces attacked Bosnia in an attempt to take control of their land. It was a fail at first so they decided to slowly eliminate each and every one of them. They first targeted Bosnia's capitol Sarajevo and Bosniak's (Bosnian Muslims) because Sarajevo was densely populated with them. They separated 7,000 men from their wives and children and brought them to concentration camps where they would later be executed. The women were put with their children and fed poorly as well as treated terribly.
In the picture at Manjaca concentration camp, the Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) men are all sitting inside of a big building where they are kept until the soldiers are ready to kill them. They aren't fed and are tortured until they die off are their own. On occasion, the Serbians take a group of them together and eliminate them.
This is an example of somewhere they lived at an early stage after they got to the concentration camp.
